Notebooks
I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I watched The Notebook Saturday night. And then watched it again on Sunday. I am a total sucker for drama-star-crossed-lover type romances. I had read the novel years ago (like in the late '90s, before the movie cover version was printed, thank you).Also, Ryan Gosling, who I did not know existed before Saturday, is hot. Both with and without the beard. Also, with and without his shirt on.

I read The Notebook on a summer night in college. Cried like a baby.
I read this just a few months after reading "The Bridges of Madison County". And man, did the combination alter my view of love forever.
